VA "Hafla-geddon"
Aela and Wicked Hips will be performing at this very unique belly dance hafla. Be sure to come in costume, pretty much anything sci-fi goes but "post apocalyptic" is the theme.

15 January - Raks Luminaire -
Khalima's annual theatrical belly dance performance show
Aela will be performing in this amazing show at the Byrd Theatre in Richmond VA. Raqs Luminaire is an annual theatrical dance event produced by Khalima and Illumination Dance Studio. It explores themes of light and dark across several artistic mediums including dance, story, theater, and music, with a focus on light. Be prepared to experience bellydance and movement in ways you've never seen it before: literally and metaphorically.

Aela will be performing with Salima Habiba during the half time entertainment at the ODU Women's basketball game.

Atlanta GA
Aela and Wicked Hips will be performing Friday and Saturday evenings at the Anachrocon steampunk convention.

Charlottesville VA
Aela will be teaching "Floor work 101 and beyond" as well as performing in the show. This event features a plethora of VA talent and teachers.

Richmond, VA
This is a show featuring the Bellydance Superstars. Aela will be performing with Wicked Hips and it will be a performance that you will not want to miss. This choreography is truly epic.

21-22 April - Day of Dance for Autism
Aela and Wicked Hips will be participating in this wonderful annual event hosted by the lovely Kalaa and Salima Habiba. Aela will also be teaching a mini workshop at the event.
